Problems with Liners

Watertown had drained and removed the old liner and was ready to prepare pool for the new liner replacement. But after the walls were exposed, we had some extra work.

From the pictures, you can see the extent of the wall rust. On one set of pictures you can see after we grinded the rust off we noticed the metal was so thin there are holes through the wall. We had to section in a new piece of galvanized metal for strength and to protect their new liner. We have found heavy-duty thick-mill duct tape is still the best barrier between the pool walls and the new liner.

The final pictures show the result of the extra work.
